Solving a Crime

In csi, investigators:

1.Find as much evidence as possible.

2. If any survailence cameras were on at the scene, investigators watch the film.

3. Take the evidence to the lab to be put through DNA machines or other detectors.

4. If any of the DNA or fingerprints match a person, the computer will pull up a background check page/ profile.

5. Investigators read it, and see if the person has done any crime in his/her past.

6. If they have, they can be considered a suspect.

7. Most of the time they talk to the person face to face.

8. That person tells what they know and leaves.

9. Sometimes, while they are there, the investigators will take a DNA sample.

10. Usually, the person's fingerprint/ DNA matches the one they found at the scene.

11. Lastly, the csi group gets together and puts all the clues together and figures out exactly what and how the crime happened.
